Dog Island is a fake site and has been named one of the Internets biggest hoaxes. When I started reading what it was about, I thought that the people were insane as you take your dog there and it stays there with visits only 3 times a year. They believe that we are slaves to dogs and want to protect them from us and take them away. They didn't put there actual address up on the website and said you had to try and find them. When i first read it i was very angry and even thought about writing to them but then i digged deeper and realised that it was stupid and with some help from Mr Buddie, found out it was a hoax but a very good one

Ecosystems Quiz

For the past few weeks in our lessons, we have been making a slideshow quiz about our chosen subject. I chose to do Ecosystems and i got some pictures of wind turbines, the amazon rainforest and a building site. We have learnt how to link up each of the slideshows to make the show look complete and go in the right order. I really liked doing this as we had to do it on our own and plan and when things did not go right, I knew how to change them and make them right.

Todays lesson

In today's lesson we learnt more about Microsoft word. We opened up a document that a teacher had made and we were given bullet points as a checklist and delete them once we had done them. We had to do things such as spell check, but borders round our work and change the font,colour and size of the writing. This will also help us for when we do history coursework or essays.

In toady's lesson we were given a sheet of paper with all the things we had to know about word. A few of them I already knew but i was surprised by how much I didn't really know. I learnt lots of new things and I'm sure I will use them in my later use.

At the start of our lesson we had a reply from our email buddy's do we replied back and asked them some more questions and answered there question. Once we had replied, we went through some of the tools on Word and learnt how to use them. I didn't know most of them but now I do I know I will use them when I need to write essays for school or for my history coursework.

Today in our lesson we sent an email to the new year 7s because we are there email buddy's. We also tidied up our documents by putting new folders in and moving files to year 7 folders. We found out how to access our emails at home by providing a link which is http://tinyurl.com/9gbbr .
