Todays lesson

In toady's lesson we were given a sheet of paper with all the things we had to know about word. A few of them I already knew but i was surprised by how much I didn't really know. I learnt lots of new things and I'm sure I will use them in my later use.

Todays lesson

At the start of our lesson we had a reply from our email buddy's do we replied back and asked them some more questions and answered there question. Once we had replied, we went through some of the tools on Word and learnt how to use them. I didn't know most of them but now I do I know I will use them when I need to write essays for school or for my history coursework.

Todays Lesson

Today in our lesson we sent an email to the new year 7s because we are there email buddy's. We also tidied up our documents by putting new folders in and moving files to year 7 folders. We found out how to access our emails at home by providing a link which is http://tinyurl.com/9gbbr .

Evaluation of Power Point

This year in power point I have learnt

· That you should use power point when you want to make a presentation or a slide show.
· That you should not use a colour on the same background e.g. pink writing on a pink background
· Not to make the backgrounds too busy.




How could I use these skills in another subject?


· If I am making a presentation, it will be much easier to read because I now know how to use it .




What I did well ?


· I learnt quickly how to use it so it was easy.
· To apply pictures to my presentation
· I got the right information

What I have learnt this year in Microsoft Excel


This year in Excel I have learnt how to properly use spreadsheets and how to add data to it. I have also learnt how to put graphs on my work, how to add pictures onto the graph and how to put numbers around it.


I could use these skills in maths because I could make a times table list with the spreadsheet and I could use the graphs for data.


I think I did well in the graph work because I found it easy to do and I like searching for pictures of my chosen animals.



My targets for next term again are to listen carefully to instructions because I kept on having to ask the person next to me what we were doing.
